60 million years AP

6 million years have already passed since the END, the most catastrophic event of the Lentocene.
Antarctica is completely unrecognizable: while wildlife has not yet reached its maximum potential, its overall biodiversity is comparable or even higher than in the late Lentocene, thanks to higher global temperatures.
Antarctica is also geographically dissimilar from the past: the large eruptions have created a unique giant landmass called Neopolarica, a fusion between Polarica, Marie Byrd, Ellsworth and Weddell. Other fairly large landmasses include two archipelagos, located at the extreme of the continent: the hot Centro Island and the cold Boitomb Island.
