The Cambiocene
Recovery in a changing world

Ducktails' extinction marks the end of the Lentocene and the start of the Cambiocene. Lasting from 54 to 61 million years, this relatively short epoch is characterized by high global temperatures, comparable to the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum. It's a transitional period, where life is facing a recovery after the END. At the beginning of the Cambiocene, the impact of volcanic activity is far from ended: the antarctic biota is very depleted, but it will progressively improve in the further million years.
As its name suggests, the Cambiocene will change the future of Antarctica forever as no other past epochs will ever do: are you ready to start your journey?
