Partners
Each of the afterschool providers have a number of partners, including the Dayton Metro Library, arts organizations, consulting organizations, social service agencies, etc.
For example, Trotwood-Madison Schools and Dayton Metro Library collaborated on a program that helped students understand manufacturing processes as students built an assembly line to produce balsa wood gliders. Students experienced roles like account manager, production, sorting technician, and other roles.
Students worked with 21st Century staff and Dayton Metro Library representatives as they explored math learning including calculating time spent, production cost, etc.
