LTI Integrations
LTI = Learning Tools Interoperability
LTI stands for Learning Tools Interoperability and is an integration standard for third-party tools. Online Campus (D2L) supports LTI Advantage / LTI 1.3 which allows third-party tools to be integrated and used within Online Campus. Use of an LTI can greatly enhance the online student learning environment but making seamless transitions possible between tools.
Interested in an LTI?
If you have identified a possible LTI product, that's great! We have a process in place to ensure that the tool meets all our security and other IT requirements before implementation. The review process takes place twice a year and approved LTI vendors are also reviewed annually.
As of May 2023, approved vendors are:
Pearson (Connect, Revel)
McGraw Hill
(Note that the approved LTI vendor list will be updated after the bi-annual reviews are completed).
If you're interested in a possible LTI integration that is NOT listed above, see below for steps to submit a review request:
LTI Request Deadlines
For use in Spring semesters: request deadline is October 1
