Did you know . . .

that online and paper-based test proctoring services are available for Columbia State faculty?

If you decide to use the testing center for proctoring your exams, to maintain security of testing materials and simplify steps for the instructors, we have put together the following processes for exams to be proctored at our testing labs:

1. If you have previously used our proctoring services and currently have access to the Online Testing Portal, continue to submit your information to that site. It is important that the information be submitted at least a week before the testing dates. Include the following information:

  • Course code (BIOL 1080)

  • Exam (Exam 1, Midterm, etc.)

  • Contact information (name, email, phone)

  • Password / access code

  • Resources allowed (notes, calculator, etc)

  • Website used for test (MyMathLabs, etc)

  • Open / Close dates

  • If a paper test: Amount of time allowed and where to send completed exam (scan / email or hard copy mailed) and the actual test

2. If you do not currently have access to the Online Portal, but would like to have it, let us know by emailing testingservices@columbiastate.edu . We will get the access set up and instructions for how to use it sent to you.

3. If you do not have access and prefer that we enter the information, please send all information (see steps a. through h. above) to the Testing Center secure email account testingservices@columbiastate.edu

4. If you have DRC students in your class and they would like to use their accommodations, we ask that you complete the alternative testing agreement within the AIM system. Send the testing materials / information to our testing services email at least three days before the exam. The students should have discussed their testing plans with you prior to scheduling their exams with us.
