The Boeing 777-300ER fleet consists of 20 aircraft and is American's Flagship plane. American was the first US carrier to operate the 77W. The entire 77W fleet is powered by General Electric’s GE90-115B1 engines and are all ETOPS certified.
This fleet type has Panasonic high speed satellite Wi-Fi and Live TV. The Boeing 777-300ER flies mostly to LHR, MAD, SYD, GRU, EZE, from hubs at LAX, CLT, DFW, MIA, and JFK.
The 77W has 2 different configurations
Version 1 has 8 Flagship First Class Seats in a 1-2-1 layout. 52 Safran Cirrus (formerly Zodiac Cirrus) Flagship Business Class Seats in a 1-2-1 layout. 28 Premium Economy Class seats in a 2-4-2 layout. And Main Cabin and Main Cabin Extra is in a 3-4-3 layout.
Version 2 has 70 Flagship Suites in a 1-2-1 layout. The bulkhead rows are branded as Flagship Suites Plus featuring more room. there is 44 Premium Economy Class seats in a 2-4-2 layout. And Main Cabin and Main Cabin Extra is in a 3-4-3 layout. All 77W will be retrofitted in this configuuration.
