In August 2013 American Eagle got its first of 47 E175 to be operated by Republic Airways. After failed pilot negotiations with Envoy, Compass Airlines was selected to operate the first 20 AAG owned E175s. Eventually Envoy pilots did agree to fly the E175 and by 2022 Envoy had 104 in the fleet. Skywest operated 20 E175s for American Eagle based in LAX. And Republic operates 91.

Each aircraft is configured with 76 seats – 12 in First Class and 64 in the Main Cabin Extra and Main cabins. The aircraft has Gogo air to ground Wi-Fi and power outlets.
