What is a Supplier, and What is Its Purpose?
A supplier allows organizations to register to receive payments through the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE). For sport clubs to receive refunds, they must be registered as suppliers.
If your club has already received a refund, it is already registered as a supplier.
If you do not have access to the supplier account, you should be fine as long as no changes to the information are needed.
Supplier information should be updated as necessary and passed down to new members. This can be done by either sharing a generic account or by adding new members as administrators.
How to Register as a New Supplier
Go to the NSHE Supplier Registration website and create an account.
For help with registration, go to Tasks and Links and click on Registration Checklist.
For information on completing a W-9 form, visit UNLV Home > SIA Home > Student Organizations > Finances & Insurance > Tax Information.
How to Register Members as Administrators
Each member should create an account and log in, then go to Registration > Begin Registration, find the supplier, and select Request to Join Supplier.
For questions or trouble logging on please contact an administrator at: nshe_supplier_registration@nshe.nevada.edu
Once requested, the group administrator should visit the NSHE Supplier Registration website, log in, and click on Supplier Users to allow or deny access requests. Administrators can also click Edit to set the appropriate access level for each user.
