Shariza binti Jamek is a lecturer in the Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Honours (Biochemistry) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2003 and later received her Master of Science (Chemical Engineering) in Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2008. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD study at the Center for BioProcess Engineering (BioEng) in the Technical University of Denmark with specialization in enzyme technology and protein engineering. She has been teaching the biotechnology subjects which including biology for engineers, biochemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry and microbiology laboratory and industrial biotechnology. Her research interests are in recombinant protein technology, enzyme and protein engineering.
