Rozaimi bin Abu Samah pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, (1997-2001) in the field of Chemical Engineering. Having interest in enzymes and microbiology, he later enrolled for a Master’s programme also in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). While waiting for the completion of his study, he joined Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Malaysia (now Universiti Malaysia Pahang) in 2005 as a tutor. He completed his Master of Engineering (Biotechnology) in 2006. In 2016, he obtained his PhD degree in Industrial Biotechnology in Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He has taught several undergraduate courses including Bioseparation Engineering, Science & Engineering Material, and Numerical Methods & Optimization. His main research interest is separation process for bioproducts. He is also an active proofreader for academic texts, mainly research articles and postgraduate thesis.
