Rohana binti Abu

Rohana Abu is a senior lecturer at Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Master of Engineering (Bioprocess) in 2006 and 2010, respectively. She received her Ph.D. in Biochemical & Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark in 2016. Her current research interests focus on the thermodynamics and kinetics of enzyme-catalysed reactions and the application of enzymatic cascades for the conversion of non-natural substrates.

She is currently looking for masters and PhD students to work on developing a continuous flow process for the enzymatic cascades for chemical and pharmaceutical processing. If you are interested in this project please contact her at rohanaa@ump.edu.my.
