Azilah Bt Ajit @ Abd Aziz is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). She hold degree of Bachelor in Chemical Engineering (Hons) and Master in Environmental Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor, Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Biochemical Engineering Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Her main research interest are Environmental Biotechnology, Extraction (solvents and solid extraction), Bioreactors Engineering and High gravity fermentation. She has taught courses like Environmental Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics and Separation for undergraduate and master level.

Development of Kit System for Honey Quality Quick Check from different Species of Stingless bee in Malaysia . Doctoral student Wan Nadja Julika Wan Hamizan investigated the stability of the Stingless bees honey towards several variable; pH, acidity, water content, storage temperature and heat, study the physicochemical and microbial properties and develop the kit system for quick checking of honey quality.
