Research and Professional Experience:
Chew Few Ne is currently a senior lecturer of the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She was awarded a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) by Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2007. After her graduation, she furthered her study for a Master of Science degree (Biochemical Engineering) at the same institution, and subsequently was upgraded to a PhD programme in July 2009. She received her PhD in Biochemical Engineering in 2011. She has been teaching the chemical engineering subjects which including bioreactor engineering, chemical reaction engineering, heat transfer, mass and heat transfer laboratory, basic science and engineering laboratory, biochemical engineering, and engineering mathematics. Apart from academic duties, she is an advisor of chemical engineering student’s society (CHEST) since 2012, to oversee the co-curricular activities of undergraduate students. Dr. Chew research interests include the optimisation of fermentation process using statistical approach, and recombinant protein purification and quantification using electrophoresis technique. She has been leading several research projects funded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She has published several journal publications with an H-index of 3 and filed 2 patents.
