Nur Hidayah binti Mat Yasin

Nur Hidayah Binti Mat Yasin is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She obtained her first degree in Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2009. Then, she is doing her direct PhD and completed her doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2014.

Her career in academia started when she joined UMP in February 2014 as temporary tutor. After six months of tutoring experience, she was appointed as senior lecturer in August 2014. Her teaching expertise includes Mass Transfer, Transport Processes and Engineering Mechanics. While she has taught various chemical engineering subjects, she is still devoted to research and consultation in environmental engineering. Her research interests cover the broad area of microalgae and bioprocess technology. She has published numerous articles in the area of microalgae biomass and biofuel production. As a part of research community, she also involves as a reviewer for conferences and journals. She is currently active in supervising research students of master and doctorate degrees.
