Mohd Shafiq Mohd Sueb is a lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Natural Resources, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). He started his journey in academia as a tutor in 2009. He obtained his first degree in Bachelor of Biotechnology (Biochemical) Engineering (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2007. Then, he pursued his study in Master of Engineering (Bioprocess) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2010. He has been awarded a PhD from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2017.
He has been teaching various courses in engineering field that includes Wastewater Treatment, Electrical and Instrumentation Technology, Plant Safety and Health, Engineering Mechanic and others. His main research interest is in biorefinery and membrane technology with specialization in the separation of saccharides by using nanofiltration membrane.
