• Inclusion Criteria:
o Age between 16-90
o Fluent in written and spoken English
• Exclusion Criteria:
o Being treated at the UMP Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics or the M Health Psychiatry Specialty Clinics in Saint Louis Park
o Currently incarcerated or under civil commitment, including review
The purpose of this study is to acquire measures of brain function and behavior in the general population for comparison to those receiving care in UMP/M-Health Psychiatry Clinics. We are looking to see if these measures of brain function might aid doctors in psychiatry clinics in the future.
• This is a study to measure brain function and behavior in the general population.
• The aim of this study is to better understand how measures of brain function and behavior may be related, in order to develop more effective mental health treatment options.
Individuals between the ages of 16-90 not receiving care at UMP/M-Health Psychiatry Clinics.
• Participants will be asked to complete any or all of the following:
o Computerized assessments (Up to 3 hours, $40 baseline compensation plus an additional $2 to $10 based on performance in one of the assessment tasks)
➢ Some available to complete remotely using Zoom & a computer
o MRI scan (1.5 hours, $35 compensation)
o EEG recording (3 hours, $45 compensation)
o Behavioral assessments (Up to 3 hours, $30 compensation)
➢ Some available to complete remotely using Zoom & a computer
• Participants may receive up to $184.53 for participation in the study.
• Enrollment and assessment visits can be conducted with Zoom and a computer with internet
