Compensation:

Participants will received up to $230 for compensation of their time.

What is this study?

Currently, there are no effective treatments for adults with anorexia nervosa. In this study, we want to see if a brain training protocol, which will allow people with current or recent anorexia nervosa to change the activity in this part of their brain, affects mood and eating disorder symptoms.

Who can participate in this study?

If you are:

  • Age ≥ 18 years old

  • Able to read and speak in English

  • Right-handed

  • Not pregnant

  • Diagnosed with anorexia nervosa in the past 12 months

What will I do if I decide to participate?

  • Study visits will take place at M Health Fairview West Bank & Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR)

  • Participants will complete interviews, questionnaires, a physical examination, conduct computer tasks, fMRI scans and consume a test meal

  • Participation may take up to 2 weeks and 2 months
