The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of chronic pain and depression on your brain and behavior.

If you are 18 years or older and have any/either of the following:
A Diagnosis of chronic pain that is not controlled with oral pain medications.
Have a diagnosis of Major Depression
As a voluntary participant, you will be asked to participate in up to 5 sessions performed on different days. Each session is approximately 2-3 hours long. Total participation will take 10 hours and may take up to 3 years to complete. There is in person and remote participation. In-person participation includes:
First in-person visit includes a screening and baseline EEG, then following visits you will complete 2 MRI visits and 2 TMS/EEG visits.
Remote participation involves:
Complete online surveys, wear a sleep-tracking watch
You will be compensated $135 for full completion of this study and transportation to the study visit can be arranged if needed.
