Welcome to the Discovery Program!

The Discovery Program is here to provide our intended patients with an extra level of assessment that may improve treatment now and in the future.

We want to know: Do personalized measures improve mental health treatment?

To participate, let your clinician or front desk staff know you're interested in participating in the Discovery Program research study. They'll be happy to set you up with a study coordinator to talk to you about the research.

How do I get involved?

If you are age 16-90 and...

  • currently a patient at the U of MN Psychiatry Clinics in Minneapolis or St. Louis Park

  • you can legally consent to participate for yourself or your teen (e.g., not a foster parent, incarcerated, or under guardianship)

You may qualify to participate!

Discovery Program Research

When you participate, you'll complete...

  • surveys about your everyday habits, health and any symptoms you may be having

  • play online games to learn about how you think and process information.

These activities take about 2-3 hours each time you complete them.

The additional information from these activities is shared with your clinical treatment team, with your permission.

Compensation

Participants in this research will receive all assessments free of charge & will receive compensation for their time.
