The purpose of this research study is to understand how best to measure memory and learning in individuals who have psychiatric illness so that we can better measure how well treatments designed to improve learning and memory work. In order to do this, we are enrolling healthy adults and adults with a diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, or bipolar disorder.
As a voluntary participant, you will be asked to participate in up to five sessions performed on different days. Each session is approximately 2-3 hours long. You will need to come to the University of Minnesota at Elliott Hall. During that time, you will be asked to complete a clinical interview, questionnaires, and learning and memory tasks on a computer.
