About Liam Pickering
Liam Pickering is a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Alberta pursuing a BSc in Civil Engineering. This past September Liam joined the team as a Dean’s Research Awards (DRA) student. As a DRA student, Liam will be working under Dr. Tae J. Kwon’s supervision and alongside other members of the team on the ‘Exploring and Enhancing Traffic Volume Estimation Models in Edmonton’ research project. Liam is very excited to be working on this project as it will broaden his understanding of transportation engineering while providing him with a clear glimpse into the industry. In his free time, Liam enjoys biking, running, hiking, climbing, and playing both his drums and guitar.
