Ryan Capuano 2014 - 2018

Since the day I started BEAP my goal was to play NCAA D1 baseball and now 4 years later I have achieved that goal and have received a scholarship to play for the Thundering Herd at Marshal University in West Virginia. Even though being in BEAP for baseball meant I wasn’t able to play baseball for the school it wasn’t necessary to get me to where I am today. Instead, BEAP taught me other aspects of being a student athlete such as nutrition, injury prevention, how to deal with an injury if you have one, teamwork, leadership and how to work out on my own. The BEAP teachers all have different styles meaning you will get different workouts and ideas from each class. They are also very knowledgeable and if you take the time to listen and pay attention you can learn a lot from them. Some classes will push you to your limit and truly test your physical and athletic abilities. These classes show you your strengths and weaknesses and if you focus on things like this you will become a better all-around athlete.
