2024 Summer School 

SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE DELIVERY MODELS

Any registration forms completed after JUNE 25th  must be sent directly to continuing.education@tcdsb.org 

NEW CREDIT COURSES: Students may take new credit, or re-take a course previously taken to upgrade a mark. Students may register for a maximum total of two new credit courses this summer or a combination of two upgrading courses during session 1 and one new credit course in session 2. 

You must have completed and have a successful mark in the prerequisite course (if applicable) to apply for a new credit course.

*Please note: Career Studies (GLC 2O3) and Civics and Citizenship (CHV 2O3) are two separate half credit courses. Students interested in these half credit courses must register in these courses separately.

UPGRADING COURSES These courses enable students to obtain one full credit by repeating 55 hours of instruction. Students must have a minimum mark of 35%. Students may register for a maximum of two upgrading credit courses this summer during session one in person and/or remote learning in either morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) time slots.

Session 1: Thursday, July 4, 2024 to Monday, July 29, 2024

Final Exam/Culminating Activity: Thursday, July 25, 2024 & Friday, July 26, 2024 

Exam and Mark Review:  Monday, July 26, 2024

Session 2:  Friday, July 16, 2024 to Friday, August 9, 2024

Final Exam/Culminating Activity Dates: Wednesday, August 7, 2024 & Thursday, August 8, 2024

Exam and Mark Review: Friday, August 9, 2024


Remote Learning: 

Wednesday, July 3rd to Friday, July 26th

Full day - New Credit Courses: 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM

AM Session - Upgrading Session: 8:45 AM to 11:38 AM

PM Session - Upgrading Session: 12:21 PM to 3:15 PM

All students will be required to complete a final assessment.

Pick-up and drop off a form at the Guidance Office OR "SAVE AS" TO DESKTOP. Complete the form. Email the attachment to your Guidance Teacher
