Clean Your Digital Locker – Important Google Drive Reminder for Students
This is a Joint Message from the Digital Learning Integration Team and ICT department
Hello Students,
Our school board uses a shared Google Drive system, and it is getting close to its storage limit. If that limit is reached, student Google accounts could become “read‑only.” This would mean you would not be able to upload files, edit documents, or submit work through Google Classroom.
To help prevent this, students are being asked to clean up their Google Drive by deleting files that are no longer needed.
Please review the attached infographic, Clean Your Digital Locker TCDSB Google Storage which shows:
What happens if storage runs out
Why keeping your Drive organized matters
Simple ways to delete old or duplicate files
Tips for keeping only what you actually need for learning
Just like cleaning out a locker or backpack, regularly cleaning your digital locker helps keep everything working properly for you and for others across the board.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our digital learning tools running smoothly.
