Toronto Metropolitan University
- Monday: Basketball for tweens (ages 9-12) from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, followed by high school age from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Tuesday: Volleyball from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Wednesday: Girls' Rec for tweens (ages 9-12) from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and then for high school age from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Thursday: Activities for tweens (ages 9-12) from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by high school age from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Kids Science Summer Mentorship Program invites a select group of high school students in August to SickKids, where they will interact with and learn from SickKids’ world-renowned researchers, doctors, and more. Enriched Support Program (ESP) Application - Carleton University does not base its admissions decisions on high school or college grades alone. Students cannot apply to ESP through the Ontario University Application Centre. Instead, APPLY FOR FALL 2024. Deadline is June 15.

IMMspire (or formerly known as 'Immunology on Campus') - is a program held by the Department of Immunology at University of Toronto, St. George Campus. IMMspire is aimed to provide interactive experience in Immunology to high school students that are interested in learning about Immunology research. This year, it will feature interactive activities (workshops, campus tours, escape room), presentations from professors, talks from graduate students, Q&As with undergraduate students from the Department of Immunology, and more. Apply for a full semester of Grade 12 science and math. Students will earn credits that line up with the Ontario curriculum, work with students and staff on projects designed to engage in a one of a kind innovation class. Application Deadline is March 1.

University of Toronto Engineering Outreach - Blueprint is a four-week academic enrichment experience for motivated Black students in Grade 10 or 11 who are passionate about science and engineering. The summer session is FREE and takes place from July 8 - August 2 at U of T’s St George Campus. Application deadline is March 24.
Community Involvement at St Joe’s Hospital - Students must be at least 14 years old and have completed Grade 9. Application deadline is April 8 for High school students.
The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) STEM Scholars Program - This unique program seeks to identify high-achieving Black students and mentor them throughout the pathway from high school to graduate school. Please note the application form is intended for students planning to begin their undergraduate studies at University of Toronto Mississauga in September 2024 and have submitted their application to UTM through OUAC. Selected applicants will participate in Summer Bridge in July-August 2024, prior to the start of the academic year. Deadline to apply is March 19. Queen's University - Indigenous Admission Pathway - Indigenous candidates have access to an additional and alternative pathway for admission to the first year of a full-time, first-entry undergraduate degree program. Indigenous students who are interested in being considered for the IAP, must submit documents to be verified as an Indigenous student. Once a student is verified for the IAP, they will automatically: Be considered for an Indigenous Entrance Award, valued at $1,000.

STEAM Design
STEAM-D is an experiential learning program for grades 10-12 students with an interest in health sciences. In this program, learners get to connect with a diverse group of university students, researchers and healthcare professionals through a series of interactive workshops to gain exposure to a variety of academic and career pathways available within the health sciences field. The learners also work collaboratively on a research project using design thinking to generate innovative solutions to existing healthcare systems issues. The students earn a grade 12 science credit (i.e., SNC4M) that can be used towards their college and university applications.
The program is designed with an equity focus for groups that are underrepresented in health sciences (i.e., Black, Indigenous, Filipino, Latin American, racialized, and/or from any background experiencing socio-economic barriers). Priority is given to students from underserved schools and neighborhoods.
Applications will remain open until March 31, 2024. Those selected for interviews will be contacted via email between mid-March and mid-April. Interviews will be taking place in April. Please see attached brochure and link below to apply.

FuturEng Conference - FutureENG is a one day in-person conference on Saturday, January 13, hosted by Engineering Outreach in association with Hydro One. It is tailored towards young women in grades 11 & 12 for the purpose of inspiring them to become future engineers.
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest - Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow contest is a global initiative inspiring high school students to apply STEM-based learning toward real-world challenges that impact their communities. A submission must be sponsored and submitted by a teacher at the school.
StAR program - Provides Black, Filipino, and Indigenous (includes First Nations [status or non-status], Inuk, and Métis peoples) high school students with a paid first-hand perspective of the research currently underway at SickKids. The goal of this program is to provide students with a unique work experience over six weeks in the summer (July to mid-August). Application Deadline is January 29.
Technovation Girls Toronto - Technovation is the world's largest global tech entrepreneurship competition for girls. The program will be hybrid in 2023. Registration deadline is December 16.
Level Up Fair Evening Session Oshawa & Level Up Fair Evening Session Mississauga for students (& their parents/guardians) interested in pursuing the Skilled Trades after High School.
Science School - Students from across the province can apply for a full semester of Grade 12 science and math. The application forms for the 2024-25 school year will be posted in January on the Science Centre website with applications due in early January.
imy Inspires Tomorrow - “History education meets leadership education.”Open to youth ages 13-17 to develop and utilize their leadership skills. Students can submit an idea for a project that benefits their community to be eligible for history and project-based leadership training and a $2,500 project grant. Deadline is December 11.
Shad Canada – Entrance Scholarships - Multiple scholarships are available for Grade 10 & 11 Black and Indigenous students who are looking to attend a STEAM program. Apply before December 1.
2024 Student Advancement Research (StAR) Program applications are now open. Please note: This year's application will be completely online using SlideRoom, and students will need to create an account (which is free). If Eligibility requirements are met, the deadline to apply is January 29, 2024. Ingenious+ Supporting the next generation of young innovators from across Canada, Ingenious+ is open to all youth in Canada aged 14-18. Ingenious+ is a chance to receive $1,000 (or more). Deadline is February 22.

YAY volunteer Mentors help newcomer youth aged 16-18 by sharing their postsecondary experience and guiding them through this complicated process.
All kids aged 6-15 in the YAY Mentorship Program can get support with English and cultural transition in Canada & have access to Free Tutoring, Self-Care Workshops, Individualized Counselling, Ticketed Events & Community Programs.
