This year, the Ontario College Fair will be taking a pause – meaning it will not take place in 2025. We encourage you to reach out directly to the colleges and polytechnics in your region or visit ontariocolleges.ca for more information.
Are you taking a course in private school/non-TCDSB school? it is the responsibility of that institution to ensure that the course and grade are updated on your OCAS application. You must then submit your final report card for these courses to guidance for transcript inclusion
After you apply, Log back in to verify your transcript information, or to make changes or updates to your application. (Changing your program choices after February 1 may affect your chances of receiving an offer, as applications will be considered first-come, first-served. Removing a program choice will notify the college you are no longer interested in that choice.)
Log back in after February 1 to view and confirm offers of admission.
If College Vocational were not the intended direction, you would need to complete some form of academic upgrading to receive the needed credit(s) and (if not already obtained) OSSD. George Brown's own academic upgrading is free of charge, but requires students be 19 years of age or older (https://www.georgebrown.ca/apply/academic-upgrading/study-on-campus). Instead of waiting around to turn that age, the best bet then would be to complete the missing credit(s) via local night/summer school or EdVance classes. If the English credit is the only thing missing, those would likely provide the fastest option for meeting program admission requirements, with the possibility still of getting in for September or January.
