Cycle 12 (Unit 12 - THANKSGIVING)

Topic: Thanksgiving

Goal: Students will understand the importance of counting blessings.

APK: 

• Let’s share what we are thankful for. Each student will share a few things that they are thankful for.

• Every time someone shares something, they encourage the students to repeat the phrase “Thank you God”.

New Information: 

• Teach the children the word blessings.

• Read the book “If Jesus lived inside my heart”.

• OBJECT LESSON: Blessings  

Application: 

• Bring bandages and have each student put it in them as a symbol of how Jesus has healed us and has given us many blessings (each bandage is a blessing).

• Take a picture of each child and print it. In a paper they will draw thing they are thankful for.

• Let’s add something on our THANKFUL BOX.

Generalization: 

• Let’s sing, recite 1 Chronicles 16:34a and pray.

• Print page 46 and complete it.
