The Tufted Titmouse is one of the more adorable birds in this glossary. Its primary food sources are insects, but it also feeds on seeds as well.
In Texas and Mexico a special variation called the "Black Crested Titmouse" has evolved. That bird has a black crest that makes it look as if it is styling a black mohawk.
The Tufted Titmouse is a very good saver, opting to store seeds in the fall and winter.
