The Great Blue Heron is a year round habitant of the marshy areas of Kingwood. It is very different from many birds in this glossary int hat it eats fish.
Their feeding habits is what I find most interesting. they seem to be slow birds when due to their normal seditious state, standing on the bank of bodies of water.
However, when they spot prey, they use their extremely long necks with many vertebrae to strike a fish.
