The Carolina Wren is a cold loathing song bird. However, its prevalence has recently increased in states as North as New York. This is attributed to rising temperatures making winter in the North less and less cold.
Apart from behavior linked with weather, the Carolina Wren are very loyal creatures. Once they have found themselves a partner, that couple will be partners for the rest of their bird life.
The Carolina Wren has a very distinct call that anyone from Kingwood should immediately recognize. The males are the ones that make so much noise.
