WhatchamaDRAWit

The idea that guided me in this piece was to make a playground for animals. This work was made out of originally a graphite pencil that was then outlined in a fine-tipped marker and erased. I spent way too long looking up photos of playgrounds and animal obstacle courses to find the exact reference for this. I revised the makeshift swing set quite a bit before I decided what animals to put on it. I am always afraid of using color for fear that I will mess up my piece, so that is why this one remained in black and white. As for placement, I was just filling whatever space I could with my limited ideas. I did not really have a placement plan, it just happened.
