Mixed Media Drawing

The main idea behind this piece was to create a drawing of a photo I created using charcoal and ink. The materials used were charcoal and ink on a sheet of pastel paper. First I created a grid and then drew in them with a layer of charcoal to try and match the background color on the photo. I would then go in with white charcoal and add in the lighter parts or make certain parts become a more greyish color. I did not use a whole ton of ink, the main place I used it was in the spots on the mushroom.
