The main idea behind this piece is to use the lightbulb to help give more meaning and context to the words in the piece and to showcase the fact it's about organ and tissue donation. This was made using colored pencils on black construction paper. First I came up with the saying I wanted to use for this piece as the image would have to reflect that. I find light to be important and wanted to do something along those lines. When I came up with the saying I needed some way to make my drawing look like it was about light, and that lead me to look up lightbulbs in a dark room and then to draw said lightbulb.
