The main idea that guided this art project was to make an independent project out of any art material you wanted and any style. For my independent project, I chose to crochet a yarn hammock.

The materials I used for this art project was one ball of purple yarn and a 6mm crochet hook. 

I didn't know what I was going to make my independent project about, I knew that I wanted it to be crochet related but I wasn't sure what. I originally was going to crochet a tapestry but as I was thinking about what I was going to do, I got the yarn hammock idea I need a place to put all of my yarn and decided to go with the yarn hammock.
