The main idea that guided my artwork was to make shapes look 3D, I did 1 and 2 perspectives for practice then I made 4 shaded spheres, for each one I used a different material, those 3 drawings were practices for the final drawing which was the candy still life.

the materials I used for this artwork were colored pencils on bristol board paper, I started by lightly sketching out the candy with a 2H pencil, and after I got my sketch to my liking I started to use colored pencils.

When I was choosing my candy I was originally going to do a Twix, a lollipop with a clear wrapper, Starbursts, and Fruit Chews but I realized that It might be a little hard to draw the lollipop with the clear cover so I decided to just do fruit Chews. I struggled with writing the most sometimes I made it too big, and sometimes I made it too small but once I got the writing down it was easier to color.
