Extended Blind Contour

The main idea that guided my artwork was to create a painting without looking at the paper while drawing, I started out by drawing my hand without looking which gave me an Idea to create this artwork.

The materials I used for this artwork were A black oil pastel, an HB pencil, and chalk pastels, I started with using the black oil pastel to make the base drawing of this artwork such as the faces and the hand, then I went with the HB pencil to draw an outline, then I finally went in with the chalk pastels trying to leave little white on the paper.

After we did our blind contour I had to figure out what I wanted to turn it into. I tried to turn the hand into something else however I couldn't figure out what to make it into, as I was looking at the hand, an idea popped into my head I wanted the hands to look like they were controlling the people underneath it. The paper still had a lot of white spaces so I drew 3 people shown in the drawing, looking over the people as if they were controlling them.
