WhatchamaDRAWIt

The main idea of this piece was to follow the prompt. I hadn't really drawn anything in at least a summer, so I was just getting used to drawing again. You can see that in the drawing I drew the body of a snake, but the head of a lion. My lion head wasn't very realistic, but my snake tail came out well.

I made this piece solely using graphite. I both drew the outlines out and shades using a variety of graphite pencils.

I started with drawing out a snake tail. This was the easiest part, so it made sense to start here. After that, I moved down to drawing the lion's head. This part was very hard, and I probably should have done it over as it didn't turn out well. After this, I drew the main, which you can barely recognize, and shaded in the snake tail gradually to try to smooth the piece over.
