Scratchboard

The main idea of this piece was to create a scratchboard of Connor brown while he is getting a haircut. I did this by scratching the black scratchboard and making white marks. I think that I made a realistic representation of the original picture.

I used a scratchboard and a scratcher for this project.

I started by choosing an image to create a scratchboard of. After this, I printed the image and used the picture to draw an outline of the picture. Then I used the shadows and highlights to create a realistic representation of the picture on the scratchboard. I think that I was successful in doing this.
