Glaze transfer project

The main idea for this project was to create a multiple-slab underglaze transfer. I wanted to create a flower pot in which I could hold my Lego flowers in. I knew I wanted to do a somewhat pastel look when it came to this little vase.

I used underglaze, clear glaze, and clay

The process for this project was hard for me once again. Glaze transfers have continued to be hard for me and it's quite difficult. I started by creating a plan and a pattern for my pot. I started with rolling out slabs and cutting them out with the stencle I created. I put them all the slabs together and waited for the clay to get leather hard. Then I used the transfers that I made on transfer paper (using underglaze) I put slip on both the paper and the pot and put them together and pressed the paper down with a spoon and wet sponge. This allowed the dots to transfer over to the pot. Once that was done I let that go into the kilm. When that was done, I glazed the pot with clear glaze to then go into a glaze firing.
