Mixed Media Contour Design 

The main idea for this project was to create a collage of blind/regular contour drawings. I knew I wanted to do something ocean themed. Over all of 2D design, I want to incorporate something ocean related in every project. I knew once I started this project I wanted to create a repeating pattern and I made that with the dots all over the artwork. I personally enjoyed this project even though it was difficult for me to think of an idea. I overall think I could've made it more cohesive but I like it for the most part.

This project was mixed media. It includes colored pencils, fine line pens, and watercolor.

The process of making this piece of art was difficult for me because it was so hard for me to come up with an idea. I feel like I could've made more contour drawings to give myself more chances to think of good ideas, but overall I like what I came up with. We first had to start by making contour drawings, then we created a background to put the contour drawings on to. Once I did all of that I added a pattern into the back of It with lots of circles. I love creating pattern with circles and I really like what I did with this piece. I do think I could add some improvements but overall I do like it.
