Zoomed Shoe Final Drawing

Marker and  Gel pen on Watercolor Paper

11" x 15"

When I was figuring out what zoom to do I thought that the most zoom would be the easiest to make a realistic drawing with, and that's what I mainly wanted to. When I first looked at my 3rd I desided to do that one because there was only 2 lines and they seemed to be the easyist to work with.

The materials I used for these two drawings were a graphite pencil on drawing paper and on the final I used markers colors that consisted of green, 2 shades of a blue, gray black and yellow. Graphite pencil, and gel pen on a sheet of watercolor paper.

When making the final I looked at my 3rd zoom and I thought for probably 20 seconds and this exact idea came up to me in my head. I used a city picture to kind of get a idea with how to make the city and then I sketched and started drawing. The design was a countryside into a city. The grass I made two toned to give it some characteristics once I drew everything I outlined all the things I wanted to stick out in gel pen. I liked how it came out, if I could do it again I would probably use watercolor for the bigger parts like the grass because it was a little challenging to make it look good with the marker. I would probably use color pencil for the buildings because it got a little messy but overal I think it came out pretty good.
