On these projects we the main idea is to make artwork with space. The hand drawing and the golf drawing are two examples of negative space, and the zentangle value stript is a example of both positive and negative space. Negative space is paying attention to the "air" around an object, and positive space is the opposite of that.

The materials I used for these projects were, gel pen, colored pencils (dark and light blue), alcohol markers(3 shades of a green, yellow, and black), a green dot marker,  blue water color paint. graphite pencil on, 10.5" by 1" photo copy paper, 9" by 12" bristol board, and 14" by 17" bristol board.

Durning the hand drawing I focused  on drawing the negative space around my hand, same for the leaf drawing. I shaded some on the hand drawing, it came out ok but it was just a practice for the leaf drawing . For the leaf drawing I outlined all the lines of negative space with graphite pencil for my leafs, and I darken it with a sharpie gel pen to make it pop out . When I did that I made a golf hole design in my head and drew it between the leaves. I colored water color paint, colored pencils, alcohol markers, and a dot marker and made this golf hole. I think it came out pretty good, something I could have done is get a smaller paint brush for around the edges because it got a little smudged, but overal it came out pretty good.
