The main idea through this artwork is practicing are color mixing/making skills, by making 12 colors, and having tints and shades of that specific color, and in total it came out to be 84 colors that we made. In this artwork we had to make something with these colors, so I decided to do a golf hole, and I was inspired by the golf trip that I went to in february, and a hole from the course I played stood out ot me.

The materials that I used for this project were acrylic paint for making the artwork and completing the checklist, canvas for what I drew on, copy paper for the checklist, and graphite for tracing my final color design.

When making this color design project we first practiced are painting, shading, mixing skills by making a value stipt, then we made are idea generations on drawing paper, and my two ideas were a golf hole aerial view of it, or a mountain range. I liked the golf hole better so I picked the material I wanted to draw on and then started sketching. I set it up in a way that the colors would go into order, by that specific color, and the shades and the tints next to it. I tried to make it as realistic as possible by putting the colors in the places that they would go best on the hole. Keeping track of the colors I used, I used a checklist and put the color on it every time I used a different color. When I finished it I noticed that there were little marks, for instance of paint, so I made little golf balls over those marks. Overall im pretty happy with how it came out
