In these pieces of artwork we were drawing pure contour drawings this means the lines describe visible edges of an object, for making it we outlined the object that was in front of us. For this project we made drawings of are shoe.  We did three different views for it. Top, side and front view. For are warm up drawing we did a drawing of are hand with a rubber band on it.

The materials I used for this project were a 9"x 12" sheet of drawing paper, and a graphite pencil. I used two different types of pencil, 2h for the lighter lines to start with, and when I was done with each drawing I used a 2b pencil to darken the lines.

The process of this project started with the hand drawing, I drew my hand with a rubber band on the fingers. When I was done drawing it I erased all the spidery lines and darkened all my lines. This was the same process for all my drawings. On my front and top view I used a different shoe from my side view because I forgot the shoe that I wore for that view.  I started off with the easiest view of a shoe to draw which was the side view, just to really get the hand of it. This project was one of those projects that involve a lot of erasing. But overall I thought the drawings came out pretty decent.
