Curriculum is Important for All
When it comes down to curriculum in school it depends on what grade level or level of institution that your field work is in. As teachers it is our jobs to create a creative curriculum for our students to thrive in within school and outside of school when doing homework. Creativity in education can be done in many ways such as incorporating dance, music, singing, art, etc.. into our curriculum. This then allows for our students to have creative minds but as well also for our students to expand on their skills of creativity and learn more about what their creative minds are to them. Going on beyond their creative minds, students need to be taught lessons that are important topics such as race, gender, sexuality, diversity. This allows students to understand the history of those topics as well as many others that will allow students to have open minds as they grow up. Teachers need to find a balance between fun and learning because this will then allow students to be engaged in school, and not think that schooling is boring. Students should have an understanding of what curriculum is but also be able to go out of class into the world with a goal on having an impact on the world.
The Purpose of Schooling is Crucial
The purpose of schooling for students is making sure that classrooms are safe for all. As well as making sure that when you are in school providing each student with the best support so that they can grow together and not be all alone. Schooling is important for students because it educates students on a wide variety of topics that they need to master. It also allows students to have open minds so that they can have an impact on the world as well as show an example for the next generation of youth. Schooling also allows students to work with each other so that they can have that skill when they graduate from college. It is also a way for students to learn basic skills and knowledge that will help them succeed in the outside world. I believe in creative a positive learning environment for my students to feel safe to share their opinions and beliefs. I want to be able to connect with all my students by supporting them. This will allow me to be aware of my students strengths and weaknesses, which then allows me to have a better understanding on how to support each of my students.
