Creativity:
The ability to develop, choose, and integrate novel, unconventional, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
Creativity is an important skill that we as educator and student learn and use as a skill. Creativity is also a process in which we can learn to be creative or teach what creativity means. It comes in many different forms in our every day life and we may not think that we are creativity because we don't have an art or music talent, but we are creative. The ability to write poetry, paint, sing, dance is creativity and it can be your own way of creativity to you. As well as it could be your way of expressing who you are as a person to the world.
In my EDU 3000 class at Dominican we had an assignment in which we had to create a presentation based on what our memories with art and music. As well as how important teaching art and music in school is to students.
A brief summary of my art and music memory is playing the flute, piano, clarinet in elementary school and then when it came to the art component it would be writing poetry and taking photography
This poem I wrote for my graduation in High School, but my school did not allow me to read some of the parts. This was mainly because they wanted me to picture Santa Fe Prep as being the perfect school, even though throughout my experience at Santa Fe Prep I experienced bullying, harassment, and the school was not taking action when I was kicked off the team because of some actions that as a person I never did at all.
