The Allen & Heath Mix Wizard

DBX 2231 and Behringer Ultragraph Graphic EQ's
My group was extremely amazing and thorough, which worked great for me as I was mostly lost. They all communicated perfectly and by the looks of it knew what they were doing. We completed it on time and got a great sound performance from the artist. What didn't go well for me was...well, me. As I had not attended a fair few of the workshops I was left stunned during some parts and not knowing what to do.
In the beginning I ran the cable wrong and had to re roll the cable and start again which took a long time, even then someone had to fix my cable as I had plugged it in wrong. Feedback we got from the other group was that the cables were messy but they ended up tidying up, this is my fault. When it came time to the EQ and the mixing I stood back and let the others operate as they had more knowledge than me and I would of slowed the process down. I pulled my weight with the set up however, that's where I think I was the most help.
This all could of been avoided had I attended more classes but alas, that was out of my control. As I don't see myself going into live sound, I think that may have or may not have affected my performance. In my brain I was just wanting to complete the project as I was not engaged. I asked for help from my group members on multiple occasions so that wasn't an issue, it's just the attendance.
I'm hoping I don't have to do another live sound unit in the future, as I am going to change to the Music Production & Song writing course after completing my diploma, but carrying what I have learnt from this project to my future studies I think I need to just suck it up if I don't like something and just do it. I tend to look at things I'm not interested in with a very negative mindset and I need to change that if I am to succeed.
