About Yoga at QMC

Yoga is not just about stress relief, changing your body, increasing your flexibility or getting into weird poses! These of course, along with continued growth and self-awareness and something to discuss at job interviews are some of the benefits you will receive, but it is so much more than that. The best way to discover it is to try it out.

There are many different types of yoga, Hatha is a style that includes a little bit of everything. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Yoga is about your personal practice, and what you can do on the day.


Class details:

This class is suitable for all, regardless of whether you have any experience of yoga previously. The class will take place on Friday from 10:15-11:15.


What should you wear?

Please wear comfortable active wear (leggings, t-shirt, sports bra). If you have a yoga mat, you are welcome to bring your own, alternatively we can provide a mat for you.
