Every Friday, students are invited to donate $1 to Slaughter's Relay for Life team, to wear a hat to school.
Mark your calendar for the 2nd Annual MISD Father Daughter Dance for a night of dancing, door prizes, pictures, and light refreshments. This dance is for young ladies in K – 5th grade. The dance will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at McKinney Boyd High School. During the month of December, Slaughter's kindness and compassion club will be collecting mittens, hats, and scarves for the Samaritan Inn. Students can bring donations to the Mitten Tree in Wolf den. Thank you for helping Slaughter live kind!
The high schools in McKinney are teaming up with other McKinney schools and organizations to collect food items to feed families in need for the holidays. We're collecting the following items: canned corn, canned green beans, instant mashed potatoes, boxed Jello, instant gravy packets
