Our PTO is going to join forces with our Relay for Life team to raise money for both worthwhile causes!  The PTO's Fun Run in May will be a fundraiser for the PTO, and the PTO will give 10% of the profit PTO earns from the Fun Run to Slaughter's Relay for Life team.  #inittogether  The Fun Run event will be Thursday, May 9 during specials

The PTO's Apex Fun Run fundraiser is happening NOW and will wrap up May 10th.  The big Fun Run event will be on Thursday, May 9th.  We're excited to host the Apex team at Slaughter as they pump our kids up and learn about leadership skills.  Look for more information to come home via email and student folders over the coming weeks.


Every Friday, students are invited to donate $1 to Slaughter's Relay for Life team, to wear a hat to school.

Slaughter now has access to a positive character development program called “Character Strong-Purposeful People” for teachers to use during community circle time. Please read the introduction letter linked here to learn more! Monthly family newsletters will be linked about the skills and strengths being taught each month. Each letter will include some ways to build these skills at home, discussion starters, and fun challenges you can try with your family.
